Students who participate are supported by a fully accredited RAA driving Instructor who works by alongside them to acquire the skills necessary to obtain their Provisional Licence. Funding was sourced from Western Futures to pilot this program at Findon High School in 2018 and the school community thanks them for their support.
Since the introduction of the program in 2018, 30 students remained committed to the program and successfully completed the 75 hours of supervised driving, as well as progressing through the Log Book requirements, (competency based assessment and training – CBTA) and completing their VORT test.
This year, 2022, the program is being funded by Work About Centre and the RAA for our First Nations students.
